US online gambling – what has the law done?

Home > Casino News > Archive > 2006 > December > 14 Dec 2006

This week the US congress remembered in the process of making the online gambling law all the way till passing it. Was is worth it? I don’t know. Regardless of the protest, the law was passed. Nothing went wrong indeed. The US president Bush signed the online gambling law quietly and it is enforced, since then the havoc is in the casino industry. This is the first time online gambling is dealt in the US since the law enforcement two months ago.

This law is now the new reality for online gambling sites. Coping with this new reality is not simple, but it’s in a great way much simpler that it would have been, if the casinos were not as prepared as they are now. Cooperations with the globe’s major mobile conductors have given online gambling, especially in the US, long breath. The fact that most online casinos have branched out of the US and own many other casinos out side of the US, can make their financial figure remain stable. The online gambling industry has decided – regardless of the law – that a globalization process is required two years ago, and now, with the law being enforced in the US, its way much easier.

The US law is not the best solution, as I states – all problems are solved with creative and innovative ideas. Some of the allies of the US in the online gambling world are having as opposite talk of making the online gambling regulated under the government’s eye. This seems like a good idea – and the income of the taxes will be way worth it much more then I don’t know what the US is making out of this law!
